The RNC has hit President Obama with a new ad highlighting his awesome new tone deaf gaffe about the economy. Mr. Obama, awash in fundraisers and fresh from hobnobbing with the much demonized "1 percent" crowd out in Hollywood is simultaneously warning us that the economy is "worse that we thought" and "the worst since the Depression" and assuring us that everything is just fine in between singing R&B classics and making naughty sexual references about the First Lady.
His latest fantastically awkward comment that the "private sector is doing fine" demonstrates just how out of touch and breathlessly clueless Mr. Obama is regarding the free market. (Something that he admittedly seems determined to strangle the life out of at all costs.)
This ad is a move in the right direction as was Mr. Romney's recent assertion that President Obama's folks wanted to slow economic recovery in order to sneak Obamacare in. If the GOP is serious about winning this election and the prevailing argument they will have to continue to bring the heat to the disaster that is Obama.
