Our esteemed anti-Israel President has vowed in an economy on the verge of collapse and on track to have a national debt that surpasses our GDP within the decade to give the Palestinians $400 million dollars in "development" aid. Sure, there might be some folks in the Gulf coast area of our own country that could use that money, but Mr. Obama has his priorities. And you can be sure that the duly-elected terrorist government led by Hamas will make sure not to use our money for nefarious Jihadic activities against infidels worldwide.
Sure, their charter before, during and after their election to power by the "peace-loving" Palestinian people calls for the complete destruction of Israel, but who cares? Maybe we can come up with a similar bailout package to help the peace-loving Iranian regime speed up nuclear power and/or the coming of the Twelfth Imam.
Actually it just might. The Los Angeles Times is reporting the the clear-thinking appeasement and peace through bending over crowd at the Obama administration is working secretly behind the scenes to "weaken U.S. Well, what's the problem with appeasing a maniacal dictator hellbent on destroying us in order to avoid hurting other leader's feelings?
As the world continues to pile on Israel over "Flotilla-gate" Barack Hussein Obama demonstrates more and more just how influenced he has been by all of the Muslim authority figures in his life (Louis Farrakhan, Professor Rashid Khalidi, his father, his step-father, etc.) and the reliably anti-semitic socialists that fill his administration and shadow government of advisors, czars and thugs.
Even after video evidence clearly established that Israeli soldiers who boarded the ship were violently attacked by the "aid workers" who double as terrorist bomb makers for various Muslim organizations prior to firing on the dirtbags, Obama could only say that Israel needed to get all the facts out and that he "regretted the loss of life." As the United Nations (see also International Cabal of Terrorists, Anti-Semites, Communists, and Dastardly Criminals) moved to condemn Israel for daring to think that the terrorist-run governing authority might be out to get them after decades of rockets and suicide bombers, America remained silent.
Perhaps the President was too distracted not meeting with BP executives or ignoring multiple requests from Governor Jindal to stop the vast sea of oil from landing on the Louisiana coastline? After all, what would the State Department lawyers who descended upon the area do if they couldn't allow the crisis to develop into a trial lawyer's dream come true? Everyone knows that contrary to the federal guidelines regarding oil spills like this, the federal government's job isn't to clean up the spill and protect the country, but rather to exploit a disaster to further far left environmental policies and look for creative ways to destroy another private industry (and thus take over with the government) via legal action.
Whatever the reason, President Obama, determined to best Jimmy Carter as the most anti-semitic administration in American history, chose to meet with the leader of the terrorist Hamas-led Palestinian authority (giving hope to Osama bin Laden that a White House invite is in the mail) at the White House.
During this meeting, Obama declared that "we think it is important to reaffirm our commitment to improving the day-to-day lives of the Palestinian people."
Here's an idea. If the Palestinian people would like to improve their day-to-day lives, a good start would be to stop strapping bombs to women and children on martyrdom missions into Israel. Or perhaps to stop electing terrorists to represent them. Maybe stop shooting rockets into residential neighborhoods of Israel. Maybe stop staging global theater by trying to sneak terrorist bomb-makers and supplies in through a necessary blockade under the guise of humanitarian aid?
The very fact that President Obama, who gushes over hearing the Muslim call to worship during his childhood in Indonesia, seeks to make a moral equivalency between a democracy that does nothing but defend itself and a group of people so set on slaughter that they elect actual terrorists to represent them is ludicrous.
Having Mr. Abbas to the White House and staging a photo op while forking over hundreds of millions of "stimulus dollars" to his terrorist-run government and using the public platform to again slam Israel for defending itself is horrifically bankrupt of decency and moral clarity. Especially given the horrendous way that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was treated just over a month ago when he was denied a state dinner, a photo op, any support, and hardly even a meeting.
Mr. Obama couldn't be more clear. He doesn't just seek to try to improve America's standing among the world's Muslims. He seeks to take their side. He and his sycophants have allowed America to become yet another shrill mouthpiece for global anti-semitism. All because as Obama would argue, America can't always be on Israel's side. To believe Obama, we need to take the side of the Palestinians to look like we're neutral.
Does that make any sense to you?
America should be on the side of Israel, and the fact that our president 9 years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks has chosen to go all-in with actual Muslim terrorists and the people that vote for them, is appalling.
Of course, it shouldn't be shocking given that the president continues to turn a blind eye to the growing Iranian threat, guffaws when Turkey and other Muslim nations ratchet up their anti-semitic rhetoric, and fills the State Department and Homeland Security with folks who can't even bring themselves to acknowledge that there is a radical Islam, much less understand the very active role it has in sponsoring terrorist attacks against our nation and Israel.
In fact, these folks, charged with keeping us safe from terror attacks, choose to look the other way. The underwear bomber on the inbound plane last Christmas Day that was thwarted not by U.S. security but by passengers was acting alone despite his own testimony to the contrary.
The Jihadist nutcase who shot up Fort Hood, we were told, just snapped completely unrelated to his regular correspondence with Jihadists overseas, his own rambling writing about the glories of Jihad, and his shouting about Allah as he gunned down his fellow soldiers.
And finally, the Jihadist that tried to blow up Times Square, they tell us, was just upset about his house going into foreclosure, despite the months spent at terrorist training camps in the Middle East.
Perhaps this is why administration officials have been sneering in disgust to sympathetic anti-semites in the press that folks in the Netanyahu administration seem willing to stop dealing with Obama in a seeming anticipation of a coming Palin administration. I wonder what Helen Thomas would have to say about that.
Israel has every right to defend itself against the blood-thirsty Jihadists that surround her. America has a moral obligation to stand with her in this fight, for it is our fight too. The Obama administration record on Israel has long surpassed just inept failure. The single focus on destroying Israel's reputation in the world (or at a minimum standing idly by while others do so) and supporting/coddling her enemies at all costs is rapidly reaching a point where no rational explanation save rampant anti-semitism will explain this administration's motives.Somewhere, Jimmy Carter is smiling.

It is interesting to hear a such a conservative viewpoint on this issue. Good post and while I may be inclined to disagree to a few of your points I think overall we should hope for a free Israel.
